Dhiway’s CORD Network
CORD network is a Substrate-based, stand-alone, application-specific tokenless blockchain which acts as an authentic data platform. With unique persistent identifiers, registries, and delegation hierarchies, CORD presents a shift in the management of information and continuous data assurance.
The CORD network itself is open source, and Dhiway also offers an open-source SDK—a JavaScript library that applications can utilize to engage with the CORD network. This enables the creation of applications addressing various use cases beyond those involving credentials. An illustrative example is an IoT-based healthcare solution, where insurance companies may seek to verify the authenticity of the data.
Benefits of the Dhiway’s CORD Network
- Highly scalable: With proof of authority mechanism and removal of non-essential processes, the platform is built for a high number of transactions per second (~100k per second)
- Compliant: CORD Network is fully compliant with standards set by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) thereby making it interoperable.
- Open Source: Dhiway’s CORD network is open source, contributions from communities are welcome, and it also elevates the trust in the system.
- Development on CORD network: Developer-friendly APIs and SDK are available to help developers fast-track the development by focusing just on the use case or solution they are addressing.
- Energy-efficient: Dhiway’s CORD Network is energy-efficient, leveraging Proof of Authority for consensus with minimal computational requirements.
- DID Interoperability: DIDs created in Dhiway’s CORD Network can be verified by other systems as well.
